KORPS Buttons

Who doesn’t love zombies? Geska Records sure does, and we’ve had the pleasure of pressing a line of buttons for them featuring everyone’s favorite brain-scarfing, gut-muching undead. The buttons are for a project called .K.O.R.P.S., and when we asked them for more details here’s what we got:

.Karmic.Ornaments.Reflecting.Perfection.Syndrome.

Location : Earth.

Members : SAGANA_SQUALE & mD.

Chronicle : .k.o.r.p.s. is the extension of our desire to exist. Music wise. Grafik wise as well. We loose trust daily but we keep reminding ourselves that it just might worth it. We breath freedom as we neglect conformity. We challenge the guidelines as we integrate fear and reason to protect ourselves. .k.o.r.p.s. is about sending clear and brutal messages for a better understanding, for better rituals. Time and space as one. Life and death as creative sources in motion. We have found it. It’s the reward we share with the rest of the world.

Inspiration : Perfection syndrome, Lack of self-objectivity, inability to see oneself in context, Death, Loss of self-effectiveness and self-suggestion, Oversensitivity. Electronic arts.

Dictum : Life as a “transitional-space”.

We started selling Buttons because we knew that the design would appeal to many many kinds of rebellious minds. From the technos, punks, emos, industrial-goths to the metalheads, all seem to enjoy that mixture of kanibals-gorey-s.o.m.a. feel we wanted to expose.

We made shirts, postcards as well with the same conceptual ideas in mind : Expose Life and Death as creative sources in motion.

Our items (merch) are now travelling around the world : France, Canada, USA, Australia, Switzerland, etc.

They are greatly appreciated because they are unique and they exist in very small quantities. Just a few dozens are made each season.

Wedding Bells

August 12th, 2006

Congrats to Trevor and Martine who are tieing the knot this weekend. Trevor used to work at the print shop where we get our buttons printed and provided us with a tremendous amount of help. Trevor and Martine decided to get buttons done for their guests and wedding party at the reception, to give them a little something special to remember the wedding day. A great idea if you ask me. We wish Trevor and Martine all the best, and hope they have a killer wedding (away damn clouds, away).
